Here we go. After a few issues of not-so-good, suddenly this comic takes a big turn for the better. Of course, it works much too hard to 'kill' the Eternal Enemy. And we know - by seeing him so many times - AND in the future in Magnus - that this guy WON'T die. CAN'T die. Nice to see Gilad working back from some injuries - that he can be fallible, and hurt - even if not killed. The cover is pretty impressive. But I am starting to hate the sidebar on the cover eliminating most of the space on the side. The comic is also promoting the next big story in EW - and with the lower price. Good idea.
The cover is bad. Really bad.
But the story isn't too horrendous. It's fair. But I didn't even know it was Attuma on the cover at all. The story is finally starting to wrap together a few of the characters into a team. A real, cohesive team unit. The stories lately haven't been great - or even really that memorable. This one falls under that same umbrella. So much can really swing this thing out, but it's wasting away most of its time. I do like the return of Wasp - four probably does seem to be too small. But anything can really shake out a few things, right? RIGHT?
